Asus EEE Pad Transformer

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ray @ 12:52 pm

Asus EEE Pad Transformer – now that’s an interesting tablet.

What I like:

  • built in mini HDMI output (not via a £35 adaptor)
  • microSD slot as well as built in flash storage
  • toughened gorilla glass screen with decent resolution
  • will ship with Flash support
  • detachable keyboard for when you need it or when you just want to travel light
  • fantastic battery life, especially with the keyboard attached.

What I have reservations about

  • Android software can suffer from “force closes” (crashes) sometimes.
  • number of useful apps being created for Android tablets in the next 12 months

Available for pre-order at Amazon now.
